What if I need to modify or cancel an order I’ve already placed?
If you would like to modify an order that you have placed, contact Customer Support within 10 minutes of placing your order. Item removal is not guaranteed and can only be done during business hours Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST. If you’re unable to contact our Customer Care team in time, you can initiate a return once you receive your order.
When will my order be shipped?
All orders for in-stock items placed before 3:00 pm ET (Eastern time) will be shipped the same day. Everything is shipped from our distribution center in Johnson City. Tennessee. Should the item you order not be in stock you will immediately be notified of the expected delivery time. Orders placed after 3:00 pm ET or on weekends or holidays will be shipped immediately on the very next business day.
Why can’t my order be shipped to California?
GreenTech Environmental products that produce ozone cannot be sold or shipped into the state of California due to regulations enforced by the California Air Resources Board.
I want to return my purchase! What do I do?
GreenTech Environmental products are sold to customers by stores and e-commerce sites throughout the USA as well as in international markets. Each point of purchase has its own return and exchange policy. Please directly contact the place that you purchased the item for help and support. If you purchased from us through Amazon Prime you have 30 days to return the product for free. Otherwise, you can contact us to inquire about repair or replacement. What if my product doesn’t work when I first receive it?
Don’t take it back to the store. Please call the Customer Support team in Tennessee directly should a product you take home not work when you first remove it from the box. Does GreenTech Environmental offer repair on products?
Yes! A talented group of professionals is in place and ready to repair all GreenTech Environmental products that require attention. The warranty information for each product is clearly described in your owner’s manual. The warranty effective date begins on the date you purchased the product. Warranties apply to the parts and labor required to repair a product. Low-cost repair is available for items on which the warranty has expired. How to Use
How do I know which air purifier is best for my specific needs?
Each purifier displays the specific space that it is used for and how many square feet it can cover. When determining which purifier you need, keep in mind that the purification cannot spread into areas that are separated by walls, closed doors, or stairways. How do I know if my purifier is working?
Each pureAir purifier has either a display or light to indicate whether there is power running to the unit. If your purifier is displaying a light or display information, the best way to determine if your purifier is working is to use your nose! The goal of pureAir purifiers is to eliminate all odors that indicate the presence of bacteria, mold, mildew, allergens, or other pollutants. If you detect an odor in the space you are purifying and the purifier is turned on, then your purifier setting needs turned up. If you detect a distinct smell of the active air purification itself, then your purifier setting should be turned down. If you have turned your purifier setting to its maximum level and still detect odors we recommend continuing purification until the odors are removed. If you feel that the odors still remain after a prolonged period of time, we recommend that you call our friendly product experts to help determine how we can help. Why do I smell an odor coming from the air purifier?
pureAir purifiers are different than traditional air filters that simply filter large particles from the air. pureAir uses active air purification technology that propels from within the purifier into your space, reducing odors caused by bacteria, mold, mildew, allergens, and other indoor air pollution. Please see your Owner’s Manual for proper settings and use of your purifier.
How do I install my air purifier?
pureAir air purifiers are simple to set-up and use and do not require a licensed installer. Complete set-up instructions for your pureAir unit can be found in the owner’s manual.
Is pureAir safe?
When used in accordance with the owner’s manual, pureAir purifiers are safe for humans and animals.

How to Use
Can I use pureWash to clean my cloth diapers?
Yes! We have several customers that are using pureWash to clean their cloth diapers and have given us great reviews! No hot wash nor any extra rinse cycle is required. The ozone injected into the water by pureWash is highly effective at breaking down organic stains. This lends itself extremely well to the type of stains usually found in cloth diapers. Just wash as normal using cold water for both your wash and rinse cycles. pureWash treats all the water entering your washer, meaning your wash and rinse cycles are both cleansing cycles.
Can I use pureWash with my delicate clothes?
Yes! We always recommend that you follow the guidelines provided by your clothing manufacturer just as you would with laundry detergent. pureWash is an excellent solution for washing delicate clothing because it uses cold water and cleans without the use of harsh chemicals.
How does pureWash work?
pureWash uses the cleaning and sanitizing power of Activated Oxygen (Ozone). This extra molecule of oxygen breaks down the cell walls of micro-organisms, diminishing them. Large hospitals and hotels have used this technology for over 20 years to keep their linens clean and fresh. pureWash takes that same technology and scales it down to an appliance that you can use in your home.
Should I pre-treat stains?
Yes, there are some tough stains that you need to pre-treat before washing with pureWash. We recommend pureWash Pre to treat your tough stains.
Should I use bleach?
The great news is that you don’t have to! The chemicals found in bleach can be hard on our laundry and on our waterways from the wash water. Instead of bleach, we recommend using vinegar to keep your whites whiter and bright colors brighter. However, if you prefer to keep using bleach, you may continue to do so. It’s not going to cause any issues. Just remember that pureWash is only effective in cold water.
Should I use detergent?
One of the great benefits of pureWash is that you can reduce or eliminate the use of chemical-filled detergents. pureWash diminishes odors caused by mold and bacteria and softens clothes without detergent. Some people like the fragrance that comes with using detergent. pureWash will leave your clothes smelling fresh and clean, but if you prefer fragrance, we recommend adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the rinse cycle. The detergent will not harm your clothes when using pureWash. However, using detergent can cause a buildup of chemicals in your clothing that can be harmful to your skin. If you want to continue using detergent, we recommend reducing the amount used to 25% of what you have used in the past. pureWash will actually enhance the detergent’s abilities to fight stains because of the oxygen in the water. Should I use hot or cold water?
To get all the positive benefits of pureWash, cold water should be used. Although hot water will not harm your clothes when running pureWash, hot water dissipates the extra oxygen produced by pureWash too quickly to be effective.
Can I use pureWash if I have a septic system?
Yes. PureWash is perfectly safe for septic systems.
Can I use pureWash if I have city water / well water / hard water / soft water?
Just like all of the appliances in your home, pureWash works best with filtered water. High mineral content, hard water, and well water will lessen your appliance’s ability to function properly. If your water quality is not adequate, we recommend purchasing a pre-filter system or a water softener. This will improve the performance of all of your household appliances. Without good quality water, minerals will deposit inside of your pureWash plumbing. This will lead to performance issues. There are ways to clean your pureWash if this happens, so please contact our support team by visiting our Contact Us page if you are experiencing low performance.
Can I use pureWash with my washing machine?
Absolutely! pureWash is designed to work with all residential washing machines, top load, and front load.
Can pureWash work with low/high water pressure?
pureWash has been tested to perform well with water pressure between 40 and 75 psi. If your water pressure is lower than 40 psi or higher than 75 psi, you will need to adjust it.
Is pureWash easy to install?
Yes! pureWash is incredibly easy to install and use. It simply needs to be connected to a local power outlet, the cold water source in your laundry room, and the washing machine. It should take less than 20 minutes if your washing machine and water source are reasonably accessible. Check out our Quick Start Guide for details!
Is pureWash environmentally friendly?
Absolutely. pureWash uses natural gas called ozone, which has no harmful effects on the environment. Additionally, using pureWash eliminates the need for hot water, reducing your energy consumption from the washing machine. Your drying time will decrease as well, which also reduces energy. Lastly, using pureWash means you can reduce your laundry detergent to a quarter the amount or even no detergent at all, decreasing the number of chemicals that go into your wastewater. Overall, using pureWash is better for the environment.
Will pureWash remove the moldy smell in my washing machine?
Yes! The moldy smell coming from your washing machine is mold growing in the rubber gaskets. pureWash diminishes odors from mold and mildew, leaving your washing machine smelling fresh! Go head, leave the door closed!
Is ozone (activated oxygen) safe?
Absolutely! The aqueous ozone from pureWash goes directly into the washing machine water and dissipates after 20 minutes.
Is pureWash safe for my delicate clothes?
Yes! pureWash is safe and more gentle on your delicate clothes because it uses cold water and cleans without the use of harsh chemicals. Always follow the guidelines provided by your clothing manufacturer.
Is pureWash safe for my washer?
Yes! pureWash Pro actually helps keep your washer from odors caused by bacteria and mold. The activated oxygen produced by pureWash is perfectly safe for your washer and plumbing system.
How do I know that pureWash is working correctly?
The best way to tell that pureWash is working is by observing the following: Does pureWash beep when you plug it in? Is the blue light coming on when pureWash Pro has water running through it? Are there bubbles flowing in the water that can be seen through the window? If one of these actions is not happening, please contact our support team by visiting our Contact Us page to get the most out of your pureWash system. Please note that if there is a red light in the viewing window (at the center of the unit) instead of a blue light, this does not mean that you need to replace the desiccant dryer cartridge. You should contact our support team to determine the cause of the red light. The beads within the desiccant dryer cartridge will turn from blue to pink in color when the cartridge needs replaced. You can view the beads on the left side of pureWash Pro.
What maintenance is required?
pureWash is truly a low-maintenance appliance. You will not need to perform any regular cleaning as long as you have a good quality water source. The only replaceable part in pureWash is the desiccant dryer cartridge, which helps your pureWash work better and lasts longer by keeping moisture out of the unit itself. It’s located on the left side of pureWash, and needs replaced when the blue beads all turn pink. Under normal operation, your desiccant dryer should last at least 6 months. It really depends on how often you do your laundry and the amount of humidity in your laundry area. Removing the desiccant dryer is very easy, and a replacement can be ordered from our website!

What is zone heating?

It saves money and energy by turning your central heat down and using pureHeat products to heat the spaces you occupy.
What is PTC heat?
PTC is an abbreviation for “Positive Temperature Coefficient”. PTC Technology offers significant benefits in two key areas of importance that make them well suited and safe for use in your home. First and foremost is safety. PTC heaters are self-limiting, which means that as they approach their design operating temperature, electrical consumption is automatically decreased. PTC heaters are incapable of overheating. The GreenTech pureHeat PTC element is set for a maximum output level that can adequately provide zone heating for rooms. The difference between a pureHeat heater and traditional heaters is that this power level changes automatically in response to ambient or environmental demands. The second key benefit afforded by PTC technology is efficiency. The pureHeat PTC heating element draws full rated power upon startup to quickly heat the element, and reduces power consumption as the setpoint temperature is reached. The heater only works as hard as it has to in order to maintain temperature, saving energy and achieving more consistent temperature from floor to ceiling.
